Untitled[edit]

Just to confuse everybody there were two Francis Fox civil engineers active in the Nineteenth Century. The son of Sir Charles Fox published his memoirs in 1904. The other Francis Fox (1818-1914) was Engineer of the Bristol and Exeter Railway and lived most of his life just outside Bristol at Abbots Leigh (see 1881 and 1891 Census).

Article name[edit]

Especially in the light of the possible confusion referred to in the above section, the page move yesterday by User: The Traditionalist does not seem to me to be helpful (and it reverses a 2007 page move in the other direction). WP:NCPEER specifically allows 'Sir' in the page name as a disambiguator. GooglerW (talk) 09:26, 13 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@GooglerW: Certainly, but it is always a better idea to use the good ol′ brackets. After all, the policy says that it may be done, so you must find a specific reason for it. Bracket disambiguation is always the primary means of disambiguation and only if it is not applicable other means should be used. Ironically, the example article cited at NCPEER has been also moved.--The Traditionalist (talk) 12:32, 13 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
