Quote removed[edit]

Wikipedia is not a collection of quotes, especially ones designed to push a particular POV. There is no evidence that quote is significant enough to be included in a biography of Francie, so I've removed it. Articles about living people should never be used as battlegrounds to push a POV, so unless there is consensus for inclusion it should not be added back. 2 lines of K303 13:31, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That quote is probably what Molloy is most notable for. The only POV expressed by the quote is Molloy's. The article was stable including the quote, there was no consensus to remove it, and I have restored it pending further discussion and consensus. Irvine22 (talk) 17:51, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
You are being highly disingenuous. The article was stable for months before you added that quote, which was added by you to push a POV. The stable version, as I said in my edit summary, is the older version without disputed information. Please stop edit warring. ---RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 04:10, 17 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Um, no. He's notable for being an MLA. When disputed additions are made to articles about living people, the stable version is the one before the addition. Consensus works that way with articles about living people. As such I don't need consensus to remove it, especially when your so-called "consensus" lasted four days. If you want to include it, show why this quote is significant that it needs to be included. No assertions, no opinions, show me sources. 2 lines of K303 13:00, 19 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I see you're now adding BLP violating commentary to the quote to try and shoehorn it into this article now. I recommend you desist, before you lose your ability to edit. 2 lines of K303 14:41, 26 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
