Covid-19 Cancellation[edit]

I added that France will not have the opportunity to compete in the 2020 Eurovision contest because of health and safety concerns related to the coronavirus pandemic. More will need to be added later about how this affects France in Eurovision once more information is available. Gingersnappin (talk) 19:09, 31 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Language[edit]

Nothing about the fact that France has only ever performed in French, with only a handful of entries containing a smattering of English or other languages (and that this began only in 2001 and was controversial)? And that as this notionally bilingual concert has reduced French to an absolute minimum, France understandably remains the holdout in announcing points in French? -ProhibitOnions (T) 05:55, 4 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
