Seperate articles for Stratus fractus, Cumulus fractus, and Fractonimbus[edit]

Does anyone think that there should be separate articles for Stratus fractus, Cumulus fractus, and Fractonimbus? The High Fin Sperm Whale (talk) 00:57, 24 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to create it, go ahead, be bold. There's not a pressing need for separate articles though, since this one isn't setting any article size records. Thegreatdr (talk) 04:07, 24 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fractus germination from trees[edit]

I have heard from general word of mouth and in particular from a meteorologist I know that fractus clouds can form above forests during rainstorms. This is apparently because the elevated humidity allows increased transpiration from trees during rain to contribute to the formation of ground-level clouds, however when I try to look it up or research this, I cannot find anything saying this is at all the case. I would like to incorporate it into this article if it is true, and was wondering if anyone else had heard of this or could even point me at sources for it, cheers. Aha, managed to find it. I was looking for silvagenitus clouds. Specifically, stratus fractus silvagenitus. XiphosuraTalkEdits 07:59, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
