– The Washington location is clearly the primary topic for this name, as others have far fewer pageviews or Google Ngram results. Was moved without discussion, but I think it should be reconsidered. Oppose As much as I prefer the prominence, the disambiguation page says all we need to know about necessitating specificity. While it may be primary for people who live in the region or are researching the region or have some interest/attachment to the military - that is completely relative in that same sense for the other pages as well. I might add that having there been two Fort Lewis Army bases could easily be confusing if not specified. Additionally - a bit of a flaw in the nomination is that "it has far more page views" than the others. Well - as until before this move it was the default page that someone went to when just searching for fort lewis - that would make sense. How many of those views were as a result of people trying to get to the other Fort Lewis pages? Combining all those other pages' views and subtracting them from the Washington one will put that into more perspective. At the end of the day, greater specificity is never a bad thing when it comes to an encyclopedic reference. Picard's Facepalm (talk) 16:52, 11 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- The other Fort Lewis existed for 13 years in the late 19th century and hardly has any relevance today. The Fort Lewis in Washington is going to be the first to come to mind to anyone in the country who is aware of major military installations. Sounder Bruce 03:36, 12 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  - Probably not a good thing to proclaim what is on everyone else's mind in the world when they come to an encyclopedic reference and are looking for info. To put it simply - that's not up to you. A lot of history research is done on WP - much for places you have never even heard of before. Fort Lewis WA/JBLM isn't even the first thing that pops up in a google search. weak Oppose - Fort Lewis College is a likely contender for primary topic here - keeping in mind that many people looking for it will probably query "Fort Lewis", similar to how one would query "Michigan State" referring to the university, leaving out the word "University". Given that this seems to be a common convention, it's possible the college could be the primary topic, but not conclusively so, ~~as there is the issue of long-term significance (the fort) versus usage (the college, which was only established in 1911)~~ Well would you look at that, the fort is actually younger.. nothing to see here!01:17, 18 November 2021 (UTC). Of course, that's based on the assumption that readers looking for "Fort Lewis" are looking for the college, which I have no evidence of, but the pageviews between the dab and the college seem to support the possibility. 7th ID Subordinate units[edit]

This page currently lists units as subordinate to 7th Infantry division in error. The only units subordinate to 7th ID are 1/2 SBCT (formerly 3/2 SBCT), 2/2 SBCT and 16th CAB The rest are MSCs to I Corps. 2601:603:5081:51B0:DAE2:709E:A6E7:42C0 (talk) 08:15, 14 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
