Notability[edit]

Note: everyone has a job, but that does not make them "notable". The list of notable people should include only those who are "notable in their field" and not just those employed in their field. Notability must be backed up by citations to other locations in Wikipedia, or better yet, citations from reliable sources independent of Wikipedia.  ⁃ Firewall 05:15, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Arson[edit]

Shouldn't this article have some discussion of the fire at Fort Hunt which resulted in Fort Hunt's students attending afternoon sessions at Groveton the year before the county decided to close Fort Hunt? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.103.102.240 (talk) 06:19, 27 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yes it should and I added a bit of info but for some bizarre reason an editor reverted it. Not sure why in the world he undid my small additions to the article, but I put them there because they answered obvious questions I had when I read the entry and had to go elsewhere for the info. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Christian B Martin (talkcontribs) 03:20, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This article is about the school in its entirety, not about one event in time. We are not a newspaper. How does identifying information about the perpetrators of this crime increase the reader's knowledge of the school? It doesn't. The only people who might be interested are people in the local community and we do not edit political geography articles to inform the locals. There is no need to point to the grad year of the perp. Unless you have information that somehow ties the cause of their actions directly to the school, who they are, at any level, is irrelevant. John from Idegon (talk) 06:02, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
