I've got to say, this is a pretty poor article. Last time I looked it wasn't too bad, but since then someone has added a great deal of unnecessary content, such as the list of the various subsystems with links describing each one, and then the ridiculous amount of links at the bottom of the page. I'm going to go ahead and get rid of these, even though I should be studying for exams :) --Malcolm 202.74.220.30 08:22, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Alright I did it, the article is still pretty poor but I don't have time to do much on it (I imagine this is why it's in such a bad state, everyone in an FSAE team is far too busy to sod about with wikipedia entries)
I figured since Cornell has a "pretty good" history, their website deserves to be linked to.
The links are really unnecessary. —Bencmq (talk) 13:09, 16 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm going to removed the UH picture from the page. This picture really messes up the page formatting and design. If this picture is truly necessary, please find a better way to insert this picture. 128.227.55.236 21:02, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Summary section[edit]

I added a new section summarizing the rules. I did include a bit of speculation and explanation, but it is all NPOV. Some of it may not be entirely verifiable as much FSAE information is unpublished, learned by experience, or kept secret by teams. Please discuss anything you think does not meet wikipedia standards. This article really didn't talk much about the ins and outs of modern FSAE competition, so I wanted to add some information for the uninitiated and potential participants. Winners section[edit]

Formula North Canada is not an FSAE endorsed event. Hence it has been taken off the Winner's table listing. Thank you for considering us.FormulaNorth (talk) 21:22, 29 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Aero?[edit]

I have to take issue with this statement from the aerodynamics section:

"Most teams do not build aerodynamic packages"

I was only involved in FSAE for 2 years 2011-2012 but then as well as now there were a significant number of teams running significant aero parts. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 37.235.41.82 (talk) 09:39, 3 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Competition?[edit]

This article explains the cars and regulations of Formula Student but not how(or the mechanisms by which) the teams actually compete, or at least not directly. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MZaZx (talkcontribs) 22:18, 22 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
