I moved this from the plural title "formation rules". Before that, "formation rule" was a redirect pointing to formal grammar. It is absurd to have simultaneou sly an article with a plural title and the singular redirecting to something other than the plural. Michael Hardy (talk) 17:43, 14 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Formation Rules vs. existing article Production (computer science)[edit]

I suggest that this stub article be removed, as it (poorly attempts to) describe Production Rules (oddly named Production (computer science) in WK:English)..

Plea for a MediaWiki syntax[edit]

While I am at it, the "it" subject matter being grammars, there should be a formal MediaWiki grammar. Proof: I just spent way above my expected time for Wikipedia editing, figuring out that Case Does Matter in Wikipedia article Titles (just try Production (Computer Science) against Production (computer science).
