Confusing hidden comment[edit]

In the infobox next to the years_active parameter, the following hidden comment is provided: NOT the correct format according to MOS:date. According to MOS:date, the format of 2005-Present should not be used EXCEPT in info boxes and other crowded information lists. This is confusing to me. Why is it saying that it is not the correct format, if the latter half asserts that it is not an incorrect format for infoboxes? Furthermore, I cannot find anywhere in MOS:DATE which says this, or anything close. I will remove the comment unless there are objections here. Elizium23 (talk) 00:10, 7 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I just noticed it as well and removed it completely. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 00:43, 7 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Mike Reynolds comment controversy[edit]

The current editing by me about the anti-gay comment controversy is meant to maintain an NPOV. Whether or not someone personally believes making comments against homosexuality is "anti-gay" or not is irrelevant. It fits the literal definition of the term, and avoids using the non-NPOV term "homophobic". Also the part in previous edits about it being controversial "in the LGBT community" implies that the controversy was limited only to that community, which is untrue. Please refrain from blanking edits based on personal bias. Xombie (talk) 15:14, 14 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I can't remember where the policy link is, but generally "anti" terms are to be avoided (besides, the link provided is a disambig page). It is better to simply paraphrase what Mike Reynolds said. I have removed the "withing the LGBT community" phrase.--¿3family6 contribs 15:44, 14 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. Also, it's completely WP:POV that it was anti-anything. He stated that homexuality was a sin. It's POV to claim that this isn't the case. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 15:48, 14 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

New album[edit]

The band is apparently releasing a new album, titled Wake on October 2nd, 2015. Check it out on Alternative Press. [1]

Jim Hughes[edit]

I'm transcribing an interview with Mattie at he moment where he says that Jim is the *bassist*, not rhythm guitarist. I should have pulled him up on this but didn't spot it when I was talking to him. Has Brandon switched to guitar (wouldn't be the first time such a move has been made within a band)? Or was Mattie perhaps mistaken?

Either way, Jim is not an official member of the band. He's an additional musician but NOT a formal band member for legal reasons. The band is the core four. IainP (talk) 20:09, 13 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

UPDATE - confirmed with the label:

They are a 4 piece officially: Mattie Montgomery | vocals Ryan Leitru | lead guitar, vocals Brandon Leitru | bass David Puckett | drums

Jim just joins for touring - for touring Jim jumps on bass & Brandon does guitars (Ryan stays on lead guitar). IainP (talk) 15:26, 22 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Does anybody know where the aforementioned interview is? Metalworker14 (Yo) 4:39, October 27, 2016 (UTC)
