Age restrictions[edit]

It is clear from the respective articles that squads for the 1999 and 2003 tournaments were restricted to players below a given age. Does anybody have access to information about any such restrictions onearlier tournaments? Thanks Kevin McE 08:38, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

la información presentada es incorrecta, la medalla de plata fue para Brasil y la de bronce para Guatemala

EL SISTEMA DE COMPETENCIA EN EL TORNEO DE FUTBOL DE 1983 FUE BASTANTE RARO. se decidió que en el grupo A estuvieran los únicos 3 países que hasta ese entonces habían sido campeones panamericanos (Brasil, México y Argentina) y el ganador de ese grupo avanzaba directamente a la final, en cambio los ganadores de los otros 2 grupos jugaran una semifinal cuyo perdedor se quedara con la medalla de bronce...
