"one of two regions" quote[edit]

"Bafut is one of the two regions in Cameroon (the other being Bali, Cameroon), where traditional power structures are still in place."

This isn't very specific, and on its own the sentence is very innacurated as traditional governments are still in place throughout the North-West province and in most of Cameroon. Do the Fons of Bafut and Bali retain more powerful roles than other Fons? If so this should be specified.

Hi, Nick. I think that you are right. What the contributor probably meant is that the fons of Bali and Bafut hold more power in their dominions than fons in other parts of Cameroon. This is definitly something that needs to be footnoted. (By the way, don't forget to sign your comments by typing ~~~~.) — BrianSmithson 22:25, 21 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Bafutpalace.jpg[edit]

Image:Bafutpalace.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

List of the Fons of Bafut[edit]

Perhaps "Some of the notable Fons of Bafut" is not the best introductory phrase when you are going to list the very all of the eleven Fons of Bafut. I´m not "too good" english writer, so I lack the courage to correct it by myself.--Sanjurjo (talk) 07:24, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
