Manufacturing[edit]

I updated some information regarding current production. This seems to have been changed without checking the existing references. The sleds are mostly made in China and sold by Paricon, but it is also true that some sleds are made in Maine. The referenced article indicates that Paricon would like to bring all production back to Maine. Dbroer (talk) 21:34, 7 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Trademark Status[edit]

Isn't the name "Flexible Flyer" a trademark that should be capitalized?...if not,when did it lose that status? This should definitely be made clear in the article,which appears to have always treated it as a generic term for sleds of a general type when it was certainly a brand name exclusive to Allen's company.The linked Paricon page explicitly states that they own the name in the USA and Canada...the article needs to stop treating the name as not meaning a particular brand!--L.E./12.144.5.2 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 07:47, 21 October 2016‎

Wheeled version[edit]

Your article makes no mention of the wheeled version of the Flexible Flyer which I owned in 1951. I have an original article on a page from the March 24, 1989 Christian Science Monitor written by a woman who had owned one in 1959. I later restored two of them, one of which was stamped "FLEXY RACER" and "The Sled With the Eagle". It was also stamped with patent number 1364612. According to the patent office which I wrote to, the patent is from about 1922. I also wrote to the company about 30 years ago, but they said they had no record of a wheeled version (clearly a put-off). I hope I will generate some responses, particularly addressing why the company stopped making the wheeled Flexy.Rbusey70 (talk) 03:22, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
