Alleged involvement of Napoleon[edit]

The urban legend about the Italian flag is that Napoleon based it on the French tricolor, except that green was his favorite color. A direct refutation of this would be appropriate. RobDuch (talk) 05:19, 7 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
