is "sworn" a neutral term[edit]

"Hamas has sworn to destroy Israel" .. is this loaded term consistent with NPOV ? is this language used in a consistent and balanced manner ie when the current Israeli leadership under Naftali Bennet denies the Palestinians right to a state and regards the occupied territories as "disputed" and available for settlement expansion does this mean they have "sworn to destroy Palestine" ?? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.11.163.59 (talk) 10:21, 3 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

checked the Naftali Bennett page - it says Bennett "opposes the creation of a Palestinian state" - any plans to substitute that phrase with reference to Hamas ? 82.11.163.59 (talk) 07:03, 17 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Does ref 5 really refer to conditions on Hamas ??[edit]

Does reference 5 ("U.S. and Israelis Are Said to Talk of Hamas Ouster") really back up the section in the text stating "Israeli state, the United States, the European Union, and Russia had said that its members would not deal with the Hamas government unless Hamas recognized Israel's right to exist, forswears violence and accepts the validity of previous Palestinian-Israeli agreements, including the Oslo Accords." ??? The link is behind a paywall but the sections I've seen just seem to say the US and Israel are reported to be working towards bringing down the Hamas-led government - does the link actually refer to unless conditions are met? Even the link title refers to just Israel and the US (not the EU and Russia) and "are said" doesn't sound definitive (I think its an anonymous source). I'm not saying there might not be other links that back up the text. 92.20.176.117 (talk) 14:05, 28 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
