Collaboration starting[edit]

I just expanded the lead, making mention of Wright Brothers Monument and the National Air Tour 2003. I've also added 2 sources, so hopefully that helps a little. On to more improving! thadius856talk|airports|neutrality 22:50, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This sentence, "The airport itself is famous for being the site of hundreds of pre-flight gliding experiments carried out by the Wright brothers" was jarring on first reading. It sounds as though the Wright brothers did their testing on the airport, but the airport was not there in those days. How about something like, "The airport is located on the site of hundreds of pre-flight gliding experiments carried out by the Wright brothers."Leonidas2008 (talk) 18:53, 1 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
