I have reviewed The notability guidelines for academics (WP:ACADEMIC) and while not clear cut on any of the criteria I think the following are sufficient for Fidler to meet notability. Firstly Fidler is now a full professor in charge of a Multidisciplinary team investigating "reproducibility, replicability, and transparency in all fields of science." Melbourne University is ranked either as the top or second University in Australia (depending upon study) and at least in the top 40 in the world. One study suggests it is ranked first in Australia and 15th in the world. In a country where named chairs are not particularly common I would suggest that this gives Fidler notability. Further while the number of citations on its own are not a guide to notability Google scholar gives Fidler 5462 citations in her career and 1025 in 2019. That almost 20% of this significant list of citations for 2019 occurred while she is in charge of a multidisciplinary group would suggest that the research is having a significant impact on her area of expertise, an area that has a significant Wikipedia page. On this basis I have removed the query regarding notability from the page. HaraldW1954 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 06:09, 19 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
