Expand[edit]

  • Ilikea, you might want to expand this article.  ;) --Gerald Farinas 17:23, 31 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Advertising[edit]

Even though the HFO is not a commercial enterprise, it is one of nearly 50 state film offices vying with each other to attract films to their state. If there were an article on state initiatives for filmmaking, it could be merged into that. Otherwise it sounds suspiciously like self-promotion (compare to http://www.hawaiifilmoffice.com/). My hunch is that HFO has found a very good marketing person for their operation, who should be commended for ingenuity. That said, this is marketing, and shouldn't be here in its current form.

To Do[edit]

  • Need to add text re: the Hawaii Film Studio facility (soundstage and water tank that is in disrepair) and its history (Magnum PI through Lost).Santaduck 00:40, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Reference[edit]

What references did you use to state that those tv shows listed under 'set in but not produced in' were not filmed in hawaii. It looked like they were filmed there to me —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.90.31.227 (talk) 20:39, 27 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
