Polish gunboats - Vodorez class?[edit]

The article claims that ORP General Haller and ORP Komendant Piłsudski. But those articles claim that the ships were of Vodorez-class. Perhaps this is an alt name for the class? But if so, it needs to be explained in the article, and a redirect created. PS. The name of the class is also listed differently in Finnish gunboat Karjala and Finnish gunboat Turunmaa, which refer in the infobox to tghe Gorlitsa class. --_{Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk to me} 16:57, 20 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That i do not know. Finnish book (Lion flag at sea) only states that four ships of the type were constructed. No mentions of either Vodorez-clas or Gorlitsa-class. Granted the book may be referring just to the ships constructed at Turku. General Haller and Komendant Piłsudski are known to have been of two other ships of the same four ship series as Turunmaa and Karjala. - Wanderer602 (talk) 17:12, 20 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, read through the Finnish wiki's pages and though there are not specific citations it had some information. One of the two pages (the other states that there were 4 ships) is stating that initial Imperial Russian production run consisted of six ships Filin, Tshirok (pair which went to Finnish Navy), Vodorez, Lun (pair which went to Polish Navy), Gorlitsa, and Sova (two which were never completed). Given that Gorlitsa was never completed it sounds rather odd choice as a name for the class. None of the ships had actually been completed by the time Finns took them over so i doubt if any of the Russian names are actually valid. - Wanderer602 (talk) 14:53, 22 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
