LYAPUNOV-1 circuit board, implementing an array of 32 FPAAs and supporting ADC/DAC and FPGA infrastructure, effectively realizing an analog computer in the form of a plug-in card for a standard digital one.[1]

In 2015, a fully open-source circuit board implementing an array of FPAAs, ADC/DAC and FPGA infrastructure for use in experiments on nonlinear dynamics and complexity, was developed. The design exemplifies the possible usage of FPAAs to implement forms of emergent analog computation in the form of a plug-in for a standard digital computer, and was used to discover a type of remote synchronization phenomenon as well as to realize a bioinspired controller for an insect-like robot.[1] ( Lminati (talk) 15:25, 12 March 2019 (UTC) )[reply]
