Notability[edit]

Hi @Shirt58: Per Wikipedia:Notability (sports) “Sports figures are likely to meet Wikipedia's basic standards of inclusion if they have participated in or achieved success in a major international competition at the highest level” As supported by the provided sources showing significant coverage, the subject of this article definitely meets wp standards having won at least 7 Gold medals representing the United Kingdom at the most prestigious Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitions in the world such as the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship (current No-Gi 2021 World Champion) the European Jiu-Jitsu Championship, the Pan-American Jiu-Jitsu Championship or the Brazilian National Jiu-Jitsu Championship. 6 articles also link to this page supporting the notability of the subject. Having reviewed the revised article, I am confident that the subject is notable. Looking in NewsBank, it seems there are also further sources available (e.g. "Two world titles in a year for black belt Ffion", 10 January 2019, South Wales Evening Post). I've therefore removed the notability tag. Regards, BennyOnTheLoose (talk) 12:51, 16 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
