I suggest to change the article title from "Koneczny" to "Feliks Koneczny", according to the wikipedia custom.

The works of Feliks Koneczny are one of the main sources of the polish antisemitic and neo-nazi movements.

The above statement is blantant slander of this great Polish historian's good name. Koneczny approached various matters in a critical manner, but he combatted the racist myths of the early 20th century and constantly wrote on the need for morality in politics. He is a guru for the Polish national conservative movement, but for neo-nazis Koneczny's views are reactionary.

Piotr Koneczny ?[edit]

"In his anti-semitic publication The Judaized Hitlerism Piotr Koneczny even claimed, that Nazism was a product of Jewish civilization." Is "Piotr Koneczny" the same person as Feliks Koneczny ? There's a big controversy these days about the publication of a Polish MEP who is quite enthusiastic over Koneczny.

Sigh. Just read up more on the man rather then portray him through one quite from a book that doesn't deal with him other then in passing. Read: [1], [2], [3]. I will expand this article. The sources provided by you are not dealing with his views on Jewish people. No one is questioning his scientific credentials. We are talking about different issues. Rafal Pankowski of Never Again, a Polish anti-racism organization, noted that Giertych for decades has championed the philosophy of Koneczny, who suggested that Jews and Catholics could not live in the same country because Jews were lawless and immoral.

Various extremist say that they use some moral authorities - it doesn't make the moral authorities flawed, just abused. The subject of this source isn't the quantity of his opponents. It does not go into details on that. Some is fairly neutral here. Only some is only your interpretation. The only important issue in this case is his views and teachings on Jewish people.M0RD00R 22:31, 19 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Anyway, claiming that Nazizm is a result of Jewish civilisation doesn't have to be "racist" (antisemitic). I can claim that and justify this thesis and love all the Jews in the world (instead of hating them). Some say, and justify it quite thoroughly, that Nazism is mirrored "judaic strategy" - and one of these people is a well-known Jewish author, ex-Israeli ranger. I am pretty convicted - and I do not accept any form of RACISM, incl. antisemitism, antibushmenism, antipolonism and so on. So anyway, he could be slightly antisemitic (like most of gentiles these years... I can quote Churchill, and many others to prove it) - but did'nt have to be. It's not a big deal. Btw, as far as I understood Koneczny, he didn't wrote that Nazism is product of Jewish civilisation in the sense "of Jews". He divided civilisation into several types, gave all civilisation names. "Jewish civilisation" was one of his types of civilisation, and Nazism in his typology fall under that type. Similarly, he wrote that earlier Germany was of byzantine type of civilisation, and Russia is of turan type of civilisation..

Yes, there are such statements in his books. This WAS a kind of 'official worldview' of those decades, and it was reflected in scientific works, too. However, we should note what Koneczny was claiming: being 'antisemitic' doesn't mean you can let yourself be 'immoral'. Morality is still obligatory, no less but even more. You can't blame someone only of being born Jewish! But this is more interesting: about 11 pages in Britannica is dedicated to Konecznu and his work (Huntington - about 3 pages). Arnold Toynbee said that he'd do "nothing" without Koneczny's work. Koneczny is one of the most important scientists of the 20th century.
