I have gone through all pages that link to Feet, and fixed the majority of links to go to foot (unit of measure). The remaining pages that link here now are referring to feet as appendages, so I am redirecting to foot. --Russ Blau (talk) 16:04, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That is ludicrous, and now you've created a great mess. Just go look at what links here now.
The last two changes should be reverted, and this should once again be changed to link to foot (unit of measure), if for no other reason than to give us an easy way to avoid that clumsy, easy to mess up disambiguation. That, of course, is the reason why it has so quickly repopulated itself with links that are intended for the unit of measure.
A distant second choice would be the intermediate change to redirect to foot (disambiguation). Having it redirect to the human appendage is totally unacceptable. Gene Nygaard 05:13, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Note: I went to leave a message for User:RussBlau and was met with a message that that account is no longer active. So if anybody else wants to jump in, speak your piece now. Gene Nygaard 05:16, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Consequently, for the time being I have reverted it to foot (disambiguation). I intend to eventually revert it to foot (unit of length) unless somebody has good reason not to do so. Gene Nygaard 05:20, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
