I am unable to find sources / relevancy for these items:

The Aerospace Defense Command was deactivated on March 31, 1980.^[1] -- Is it clear that in 1980 the Federal Building was under the Aerospace Defense Command? vs. some of its functions?

United States Air Force custody was transferred from Aerospace Defense Command to Strategic Air Command in 1980.^{[citation needed]}
The building was then transferred to the Space Command in 1982 (now Air Force Space Command).^{[citation needed]}
The Federal Building remained a military computer facility and was shared with the United States Census Bureau for the 1990 United States Census.^{[citation needed]}
I have also seen, but cannot find a reliable source, that the FBI was located in the building for a time.

Regardless of the command, it seems that the Peterson AFB had some ongoing responsibility for the building, at least until 2009.
