Reason for the unreferenced tag[edit]

Prior to placing the unreferenced tag, I checked that no previous version of this article cited any sources. So prior to any edits of mine, the article was unreferenced. I would add references myself if I was an expert on the Faroese language, or at least linguistics in general. I hope this is satisfactory per WP:RESPTAG.
