Automatic?[edit]

How can this be an automatic mode of fire? It sounds even more manual than usual. 124.186.84.47 07:48, 14 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fanning a Colt 6-gun as shown in at least one TV series is quite impossible in practice.[edit]

Bob Graham, a native of Cut-n-Shoot, Texas (a small town with a population of 809 in 2001) and a World Champion in Fast Draw competition in 3 consecutive decades, customizes (and strenghtens) single action revolvers for fanning and fast draw shooting. He has demonstrated the ability to fan Colt Frontier Model single action revolvers chambered in 45 Long Colt while shooting accurately. While it is more difficult than it appears on television, it is nonetheless possible.
