Roman language?[edit]

From "Familia ("The Family", from the Romain familia)"

Since when was Roman a language? Isn't it Latin? 99.227.248.12 (talk) 10:24, 21 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A hardly understandable sentence[edit]

"During the interregnum in 1733, the Familia supported Stanisław I Leszczyński for King. Polish Kings in the period were elected by ballot, by the nobility (Elective Monarchy). The Familia decided to support the Saxon Frederick Augustus II as candidate (elected King Augustus III - reign. 1734–1763 in Poland)"

Why did this change of opinion about the candidate happen ? It would be necessary to give explainations. But I have the impression that there is a mistake :

Referring to the Polish page, it seems that the Familia supported Stanislaw Leszczynski (also supported by France), but when he was defeated (Dantzig, 1734), decided to accept the election of Augustus III (supported by Russia and Austria) instead of staying in the opposition (hence a move towards Russia).
