Fairview, Kenton County, KentuckyFairview, Kentucky – Per notability and related policies. Fairview, Ky, was treated as a dab but the Kenton Co. settlement is the only formally incorporated city by that name; the others are not especially notable and (were they ever large enough to incorporate) would need to change their name. The Commonwealth of Kentucky uses Fairview without qualification in referring to the Kenton Co. city. The former dab has already been moved to Fairview, Kentucky (disambiguation) and hatnote-linked from the real Fairview, but I need a mod to complete the move.  — LlywelynII 12:00, 26 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Weak support since it's the only incorporated municipality. A hatnote can be used for disambiguation in this article. --Article editor (talk) 23:53, 26 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. The "Christian County" Fairview was viewed 942 time in the last 90 days, compared to 497 for the Kenton County town. The dab page itself was viewed 564 times in the same period, implying that people going there aren't all seeking the Kenton County town of 152 people. The Fairview, Christian County has some notability as the birthplace of Jefferson Davis. Additionally, the unincorporated community isn't entirely in Christian County (the Davis monument is in Todd County). I suggest moving the unincorporated community to the base name of Fairview, Kentucky adding a hatnote for readers.--Cúchullain t/c 20:35, 30 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Also, all the decipherable incoming links to Fairfield, Kentucky intend Davis' home town.[1]--Cúchullain t/c 20:52, 30 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment Fairview, Kentucky was recently redirected here; I'm going to restore it as a disambiguation page pending the outcome of this RM.--Cúchullain t/c 20:37, 30 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose I don't see any convincing evidence of a WP:PRIMARYTOPIC here. --BDD (talk) 17:20, 2 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. Even though the Fairview in Christian County is not incorporated, it is recognized as a settlement; the one in Kenton County is incorporated but is still tiny. I think it makes sense for "Fairview, Kentucky" to be a DAB page, as it is now, and leave both articles named as they are. Omnedon (talk) 17:26, 2 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
