Untitled[edit]

Hello ---

I'd really appreciate it if any new edits to this page did not involve sexual innuendos. I had to remove 2 references that did not have any valid references. I WILL continue to have this page edited to make sure it stays that way. 67.161.65.214 (talk) 23:18, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

thanks ---

Agreed. As this topic is obviously and specifically talking about a cosmetic treatment, not the vulgar slang term. Drawnedlac (talk) 23:47, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Expand[edit]

This is a great topic. Good start. There are many opportunities to expand it... history, risks, rewards, links, who does the treatment, even celebrities who have them done (Bette Midler comes to mind), etc.Drawnedlac (talk) 23:47, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • I found that this statement "A glycolic mask can only be used once a month without the risk of burning the skin" is not accurate. As I am searching to cite, most site explain that this is myth, once every 2-3 weeks is ideal.[1]

Non-objective aspects of article[edit]

I explicitly created an account to counter this, because I realized when I read this article somebody had re-written the Facial Mask section as a badly translated advertisement of some French brand. I'm working to undo all changes up to that point so that the objective can be returned to a decent state. It would be good if other people can also keep an eye out for this. Evidence to support effectiveness?[edit]

I only came to this page to find if there was any evidence beyond anecdotal to support any claims made regarding various face mask treatments. Is there any? Muleattack (talk) 19:41, 27 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

There is none. Facial is just an excuse to get out of the house and relax. Daniel.Cardenas (talk) 15:15, 22 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
