New Acquisition[edit]

In 2017, FMC acquired a significant part of the DuPont Crop Protection business and also sold FMC Health and Nutrition to DuPont. [1]

This could be a good addition to the article. Do you have independent (non-corp) references that support this purchase and sale? If not, I may have time to look for sources in the next week or two.Dialectric (talk) 16:43, 28 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Add bullet points in spinoff section[edit]

–In 2017, FMC acquired a significant part of the DuPont Crop Protection business and also sold FMC Health and Nutrition to DuPont. [1]

– On March 31, 2017, FMC had announced its intention to separate FMC Lithium as a separate publicly-traded company. On October 11, 2018, Livent Corporation (NYSE: LTHM, $16.25, Market Capitalization: $2.3 billion) started trading on the NYSE after its IPO. Getting the name history right[edit]

Hey team, I am researching Bob Malott and in 1957 the company was in its Food Machinery & Chemical Corp days. I didn't see that here so have added it with references. I may have missed why that time period under that name was left out. If there is a reason, please let me know. Thank you! RRFWTommartin (talk) 15:32, 28 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate information in header removed[edit]

I noticed that the article said the exact same thing in both the header and the first two sections of History, so I cleaned it up a little.
