Gallery removal[edit]

Okay, long-winded story here. ImageRemovalBot is going around removing images from galleries. Unfortunately, in doing so, it is also removing entries from the discography pages of musicians. I am trying to get the bot's owner to stop this, but have been unsuccessful, and so now I am unfortunately the one who has to clean up the bot's mess.

This page's gallery was different from most, in that it had a separate discography below. That's why I messed up my edits the first time.

However, in fixing the bot's mistakes, I am also removing galleries from discographies entirely. Why? Two reasons. One, it prevents the bot from further removing content from the pages, and second, the galleries fall afoul of Wikipedia's Fair Use policies. According to the way Wikipedia now wants to deal with album covers (fortunately or unfortunately), they can only be either on the album's page itself or on the artist page if they are keyed specifically to a portion of the article that discusses the album. None of the images in the gallery on this page meet that criteria; none of them have fair use rationales anyway, so they'll all eventually be deleted by the bots.
