Santana not the writer[edit]

Mention should be made in the main article that the song was not written by or for Carlos Santana, nor was his the first recording of it. The song was first recorded in 1965 by Willie Bobo, and written by Bobo's guitarist Sonny Henry. Bobo was an idol of Santana's, and later played with Santana. (See the Ultimate Santana article on the song at http://www.ultimatesantana.com/Evil-Ways.html). Misterdoe (talk) 20:16, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Nor was it written by Jimmie Zack, who was miscredited as writer on first pressings of the Santana album and single 4-45069. –Wbwn (talk) 06:52, 15 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Rip-off of "Love Potion #9"?[edit]

Should the article mention (with cited sources, of course) that this song sounds very similar to "Love Potion #9"?50.136.139.204 (talk) 10:30, 15 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
