I recently had chance to play the final version of E3 so I thought I'd update the page with some more up-to-date details.

It's not perfect by any stretch of the imagination but it hopefully better reflects the final game. Will look for some details and add a 'Critical Reception' section asap.

Triple E? Who came up with that one? I'd like a source on that one.

The original free web game is called Every Extend and then they added an Extra on it. You can download the original at the website listed below.

I realize that. However, someone had edited it stating that "E3" was pronounced "Triple E," which I hadn't heard anyone say before.

I think it's safe to say that it ISN'T pronounced Triple E.

"...striking the correct balance between risk and reward to earn the chance to continue, or "extend", gameplay."

I think this is missing the original intent of the title. In shmups, an "extend" refers to an extra life, i.e. "Extend at 10,000pt," so the concept of the original game was that every life was critical. Thanks for bringing that to my attention, it was something of a hold-over from the original material. I've tried to clarify the "extend" concept as well as doing a quick editing job and a slight rewrite of the Gameplay section.

Critical Reception subheader is underway; citations, further reviews, screenshots and gamemode details (Caravan, Multiplayer etc.) will follow asap.

Any further input more than welcome.

Every Extend Extra → Every Extend – The article currently covers all versions, and each version of the game is very different from the previous one to be considered the same game.   • I think it would make a stronger article to cover it as a series though. There's also "Every Extend Extra Extreme" which is considered a sequel based on the developer's interviews.   • Support, since the scope is broader than the single title. That single title will still redirect here.   • Support From what I can see on the page, Every Extend is the name of the original title, and the author wants to change the article to be about the whole series, not just the second game. If we're going in this direction however, the article should really use the Infobox VG series instead of Infobox video game. TarkusABtalk 11:56, 28 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Gameplay image[edit]

There is too much going on in the E4 version screenshot and i don't think its beneficial at all to use it on its own. The original PC version is the better image because its simpler and easier to understand [1], although if we want the best image possible (in my humble opinion) a gif would be best suited for this to help illustrate the gameplay similar to how Edge (video game) uses a gif. Another option is combining three screenshots of each version into a single image for comparison purposes like how Resident Evil - Code: Veronica and Resident Evil Zero.Blue Pumpkin Pie (talk) 08:30, 19 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
