There seems to be at least two concepts with the name evaluation map(ping) in mathematics, namely, the map that assigns the value of a function (seen as an element in a dual space) in a specified fixed point to that function, and seemingly also a kind of topological pullback; see Initial topology for the latter. Neither now seems to have their own article. The second notation I didn't know before; I found it by following the redir Evaluation map.
