Allegations of use of sexual language[edit]

Allegations of sexual harrasment started circulating in Slovenian media in July 2016. Flisar allegedly abused his position as the chief editor of Sodobnost and sent a number of sexually suggestive e-mail messages to an aspiring critic who wanted to join the team. When the aspiring critic disagreed with his sexually suggestive messages, Flisar denounced her position.[1] A public appeal was made for Flisar to resign from his position as the president of the Slovenian section of PEN International because of his role in the scandal.[2] Flisar denied his role in the allegations and claimed that his words were misinterpreted and taken out of context.[3]

[I have transferred this chapter about the scandal by an anonymous and possibly involved editor from the Evald Flisar's entry to the Talk page, because it was unproportional with the information on the person as a writer and due to WP:UNDUE. --Mhladnik (talk) 13:43, 11 July 2016 (UTC)][reply]

Agreed. "Sexual abuse" is also a too strong term with regards to allegations, considering the talk page is linked from the main article. I suggest we change it to use of sexual language as it is on the main page right now. Rokoce (talk) 13:21, 12 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
