Controversies[edit]

No mention of various controversies (such as Steve Cokely etc.) which alienated Jews and other white liberals, and contributed to Sawyer's failure to keep the coalition that had supported Harold Washington together (see [1] etc.)... AnonMoos (talk) 10:21, 20 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Approval Ratings[edit]

Under the approval ratings section, a table displays two polls, both conducted by the Chicago Tribune in January of 1989. One poll gives an approval rating of 61% and the other an approval of 49%. No other data for the polls are given, not even disapproval ratings. I'm skeptical the Chicago Tribune conducted two polls in the same month on the same topic and found an 11-point gap between results. I could not access the source article, but something tells me human error is involved. Perhaps someone could double check the records and fix the table, or at least fill in the missing information. 66.91.36.8 (talk) 19:06, 6 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
