Call for help with references[edit]

Translation and start new article, but the refs in the French article are French and French sourced. Attention from subsequent editors would be great, thanks, Julia Rossi (talk) 02:01, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Plagiarism[edit]

It looks like we may have a bit of a problem with this article. This article was translated from the French article, whose initial version (created in 2005), seems to be a plagiarized translation of this page at Sunshine for Women (copyright 2003). Although the French article has been edited significantly since then, and it's been translated twice from the original text, passages from the original source are still identifiable. Any suggestions as to how we should deal with this? Kaldari (talk) 16:06, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm afraid I'm going to have to stubbify the article for now. It is just too similar to the Sunshine for Women article. I'm very sorry I didn't recognize this before asking you to translate the article. I didn't notice the similarities, however, until was back in English :( Kaldari (talk) 16:21, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
That's okay with me. Strange that my translation should have blown its cover! Maybe Fr wiki isn't too rigorous. Julia Rossi (talk) 21:31, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Apparently not, especially since the article was created by someone accused of plagiarism before! Kaldari (talk) 15:49, 24 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
