Venus South Pole[edit]

- η1 Doradus can be considered the south pole star of Venus, as it is the closest bright star to Venus's south celestial pole.
According to this source:

the Venusian north pole is at RA 272.76, DEC 67.16; the south pole then would be at RA 92.76, DEC −67.16. The RA converts to 06h 02m 46s and the DEC to −67° 09′ 36″. Eyeballing it, the closest bright star to those coordinates may instead be Nu Doradus at RA 06h 08m 44s, Dec. −68° 50′ 36″.
