Complaint to Wiki editors: there were several links in the 'notable natives' section that have been removed

Pronounciation[edit]

I have never heard anyone pronounce "Eskilstuna" with a soft "sj" sound rather than a hard "k". I propose a change of the pronounciation guide to [ˈɛskɪlsˌtʰʉːna]. 83.250.140.199 (talk) 09:33, 13 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

History[edit]

I do not understand the citation request at "Saint Eskil was stoned to death by the pagan vikings of neighbouring town Strängnäs, 30 km east of Eskilstuna, trying to convert them to Christianity.[citation needed]" The link from Saint Eskil in the previous sentence should be quite sufficient. Just read this sentence by chance. Moreover, it is a grammatically wrong sentence, it makes no sense. Saint Eskil was stoned to death by the pagan vikings of neighbouring town Strängnäs, 30 km east of Eskilstuna, after he tried to convert them to Christianity. Just my two cents.
