What is the basis for calling him "Maximilian VII"? This seems to be based on a misreading of this source. As I understand it, he was the 7th prince of Hohenlohe-Langenburg, not the 7th named Maximilian. He's not even normally called Maximilian - I've always seen him called "Ernst" or "Ernst Wilhelm". He is called that, for instance, on the best genealogical sites that I'm aware of - [1], [2], [3]. But where to move to? There's another Prince of Hohenlohe-Langenburg named "Ernst" who might conceivably warrant an article, which makes Ernst, Prince of Hohenlohe-Langenburg potentially problematic. I could just move it there anyway, and worry about the other Prince Ernst when and if he ever gets an article; I could move to Ernst Wilhelm, Prince of Hohenlohe-Langenburg; or I could move to Ernst, 7th Prince of Hohenlohe-Langenburg. I'm going to move to the first location for the moment. john k (talk) 13:52, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
