Please re-edit this Ermengarde of Anjou as there are two different Ermengardes of Anjou within the same time period.[edit]
This Ermengarde of Anjou, being the daughter of Fulk III the Black and Hildegarde, did married, respectively, to Geoffrey II, Count of Gâtinais in 1035, then, in 1049, to Robert, the Duke of Burgundy, the son of Robert II Capet, King of France. A confirmed biography can be seen here from the Foundation for Medieval Genealogy, as seen below:
ERMENGARDE [Blanche] d'Anjou ([1018]-murdered church of Fleury-sur-Ouche, Côte d’Or 18 Mar 1076, bur Abbaye de Saint-Seine, Côte d'Or). Her name is recorded in a 13th century obituary of Molesme which commemorates Duke Robert[147]. The Historiæ Andegavensis names "Goffridi de Castro Landono et Ermengardis filia Fulconis Comitis Andegavensis" as parents of "Fulco comes Andegavensis"[148]. Her second marriage is deduced from a genealogy of the Comtes d'Anjou which names "Fulco (pater) Gosfridus et Ermengardis (mater) Gosfridus (et) Fulco (et) Hildegardis, de altero patre, filia Roberti ducis fratris Henrici regis"[149]. She was murdered with her husband. m firstly ([1035]) GEOFFROY II "Ferréol" Seigneur de Château-Landon, Comte de Gâtinais, son of BOUCHARD Comte [de Gâtinais] & his wife --- (-30 Apr 1043). m secondly (1049) as his second wife, ROBERT I "le Vieux" Duke of Burgundy, son of ROBERT II "le Pieux" King of France & his third wife Constance d'Arles ([1007]-church of Fleury-sur-Ouche, Côte d’Or 18 Mar 1076, bur Abbaye de Saint-Seine, Côte d’Or).
