No Cookie ?[edit]

Why didnt Eric perform Cookie Monster ? I know David Rudman does a good job, but I wanna know why Eric didnt do Cookie. Did Cookie's voice give him a sore throat ? what gives ? --4.229.39.168

Actually Sesame Workshop chose David Rudman as Cookie Monster but Jacobson did voice him in 2001 but w/ Eric as Bert and Grover they thought giving him Cookie Monster was too much Matthew Cantrell (talk) 04:26, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Jacobson's real birth date? January 15, 1971 or July 25, 1970?[edit]

There has been several edits being reverted and added back and forth lately about his birth date, July 25, 1970 to January 15, 1971. Can anyone find a reliable source to confirm this edit issue?, because it's getting really confusing of his birth. On Twitter, puppeteer Matt Vogal confirmed his birth date "January 15, 1971" in this post here:https://twitter.com/welcomemattv/status/1022514585184530432, it also says it on IMDb. But, if you research "Eric Jacobson birth" on Google, it will come up and say "July 25, 1970". WP:DOB is the relevant policy. In this case the Twitter post by Matt Vogal cannot be used as it violates WP:SELFPUB which notes self-published sources (of which social media is included) cannot be used to make claims about third parties. Tertiary celebrity database sites also do not meet the reliable sourcing criteria (see WP:RS/IMDB for example). So the IP above is correct in stating that the birthdate needs to stay out of the article until it is confirmed by multiple reliable sources, or explicitly stated by the subject himself.--Jezebel's Ponyo^{bons mots} 19:48, 20 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
