A simple quote from — even one of — the references would save it from deletion, but the author of the article has gone to great length to include quotes which are, best, marginally relevant to the topic, while not including quotes where someone uses the term. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 22:04, 5 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Withdrawing deletion request, but leaving OR and bias. Apparently Lee Iaccoca and Adam Smith were quoted as using the term, although not necessarily with similar meaning. (And without any real evidence that they did use the term.) — Arthur Rubin (talk) 22:06, 5 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I don't understand why the article is subject to OR claims. I started this article, having myself studied Mill and Levi's works. Someone then added information claiming that Iacocca used the term, something I found to be true after a quick research on Google Scholar. Hence, I don't see how any of this information can be seen as having been invented (ie. OR), or even as having a preference towards specific opinions (ie. having bias). Most of the information is true and correctly referenced. If you want my point of view, the main problem arises from the fact that this article is of stub-quality and thus does not provide an in-depth coverage of the topic. As you adequately put it, it simply needs to be expanded and disambiguated (ex. between Iacocca, Smith and Mill) - this article may thus be criticized for being of poor quality and poor coverage, but certainly not for being OR. --m3taphysical (talk) 02:02, 6 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

removing POV tag with no active discussion per Template:POV[edit]

I've removed an old neutrality tag from this page that appears to have no active discussion per the instructions at Template:POV:

This template is not meant to be a permanent resident on any article. Remove this template whenever:
  1. There is consensus on the talkpage or the NPOV Noticeboard that the issue has been resolved
  2. It is not clear what the neutrality issue is, and no satisfactory explanation has been given
  3. In the absence of any discussion, or if the discussion has become dormant.

Since there's no evidence of ongoing discussion, I'm removing the tag for now. If discussion is continuing and I've failed to see it, however, please feel free to restore the template and continue to address the issues. Thanks to everybody working on this one! -- Khazar2 (talk) 02:43, 27 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
