Merger proposal[edit]
I propose that the bulk of Neotyphodium be merged in here. Most Neotyphodium species have recently been synonymised with Epichloë, and only two dubious species are retained in that genus (Leuchtmann et al. 2014, Mycologia). Eventually, Neotyphodium will probably become a full synonym. MycoBank has not yet taken up the change, but the community apparently has (paper already cited ~50 times).
