I've added a 'see also' section for Entwisles (just one at present), given the frequent confusion of spelling between Entwistle, Entwhistle and Entwisle (a historical issue and still current)

Origins?[edit]
I was disappointed to find that such an interesting name had no origin info here. Does anyone know where it came from? Does it actually refer to a whistle of some kind, and/or an Ent? I'd be tickled knowing a tree giant was among my ancestors. – AndyFielding (talk) 07:32, 20 November 2023 (UTC)
