Low standard - unsubstantiated popular claims[edit]

Use some more reliable literature as sources (relevant research from specialists on each historical period of a given culture). There is no scholarly established connection between the intoxicant that was used in the ancient rituals of the Vedas and the Cannabis. Although it would seem so logical, the texts' descriptions do not fit. Tantric Buddhism prevails in Tibet, Himalayas, Mongolia, but it did not originate there. Nor is cannabis part of its rituals.
