Undeveloping world(?)[edit]

Is this correct? The intro reads "... the leading bacterial cause of diarrhea in the undeveloping world, ...". I feel like it should read undeveloped world but I ain't no english major. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.189.172.74 (talk) 17:32, 19 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Prevention[edit]

Only vaccination is mentioned as preventative. Isn't personal hygiene (hand-washing, particularly after contact with animals and contaminated surfaces) and adequate food preparation and storage relevant? I leave it for those with relevant expertise to contribute. Pol098 (talk) 15:20, 24 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

So let me get this straight, ppx/vaccination is "mentioned as preventative", but no one will talk about the most common abx used to tx ETEC w/? At the very least mention fluoroquinolones (e.g. cipro). Lots of us live in third world countries and would appreciate a good read. This was a VERY disappointing Wikipedia page.Boonshofter (talk) 18:17, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
