Information outdated[edit]

There is a lot of outdated information here, I hope to have some time later to fix things up a bit amongst other things:

  1. Physicians are no longer employed on ambulances by MDA, physicians that do respond/ride on ambulances are there on a voluntary basis (or army/hospital assignment to get pre-hospital experience).
  2. As a result of the above there is no longer a distinction between ALS and MICU ambulances.
  3. Lahak now uses the MBB/Kawasaki_BK_117 helicopter, there are only 2 active helicopters/stations at any given time though they also still have a MBB_Bo_105 for night flight.
  4. The article largely ignores the role of other first response organizations and private ambulances.
