Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because <the subject is a local celebrity where she lives, has many Youtube videos with several, several hits, and is in the Top 13 of Season 11 of American Idol. She also is probably going to win.>. — 99.153.224.164 (talk) 12:08, 3 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Birthday Needs Good Reference[edit]

Confirmed that the existing 2 references quoted "Local musician Elise Testone advances to finals on ‘American Idol’" and "Kinnelon grad singing her way to the top" does not provide birthday. Also, all the cited references on this article prior to April 22, 2012, does not verify the birthday. What's worse, online search reveals, they're just mirroring content of Wikipedia. That would just be similar to WP:Circular References. If any of you guys can find a website that does not mirror, the content of Wikipedia, please fill the birthday CITATION NEEDED tag. Thanks - SyncSeth (talk) 09:08, 23 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Notes/Footnotes[edit]

I initiated this conversation to discuss the Citing sources guidelines as mentioned briefly in edits [1], and [2]. With the hope that it would clarify the note edits under Performances/results, I provided the link guideline in Edit Summary citing WP:REF. The Footnotes (or Notes) allow the use of repeated citations using same footnote as reference, instead of creating several footnotes saying the same exact thing, to avoid clutter, and rein in on footnote duplicates. I hope this discussion and the specific Wikilinks provided would help clarify the issue and prevent any edit war. Feel free to opine. - SyncSeth (talk) 02:10, 4 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
