Requested move[edit]

Elisabeth Dermot-WalshElisabeth Dermot WalshRelisted. Jenks24 (talk) 14:23, 13 May 2011 (UTC) Richie2127's move request at Wikipedia:Requested moves read in part: "Elisabeth's name is spelt without the hyphen. I have edited the page to correct the spelling but cannot edit the name of the article correcting the spelling." I am copying it here because it is evidently controversial, since the edit referred to was reverted. ErikHaugen (talk | contribs) 20:09, 5 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sources seem divided as to whether there's a hyphen or not - is there a source that we can consider authoritative?--Kotniski (talk) 10:40, 13 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
'Comment The sources are not quite cleanly divided, but this looks like an Anglicism, omitted by American sources, especially online databases like IMDB; but the Guardian uses no hyphen. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 18:45, 13 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"Sorry i am new to this, and realise now that my schoolgirl error was that i forgot to explain that i work for the BBC on Doctors and so know that Elisabeths name is spelt Elisabeth Dermot Walsh. There is no hyphen. Thank you." Richie2127 (talk) 16:26, 16 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

All right, in the absence of any reason not to, I've moved it to the unhyphenated form.--Kotniski (talk) 10:18, 17 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
