El diablo (Elena Tsagrinou song)El Diablo (Elena Tsagrinou song)MOS:FOREIGNTITLE says that foreign-language capitalisation should be retained, and it looks like the original capitalisation is "El Diablo", not "El diablo". ―Jochem van Hees (talk) 09:27, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment I'm unsure about this one. It is a Spanish-language title so that language's capitalization convention should be "retained", meaning the title is correct with lowercase "diablo", but it also appears that it is most commonly written with uppercase Diablo in nearly all English-language sources. I would assume that is because it is a Spanish term being used in an English song, so there was little concern with Spanish grammar. The song uses the term solely to identify a person/concept: I gave my heart to el diablo. The guidelines don't appear to properly capture this type of scenario.
